One year after successfully landing on Mars, Curiosity sang Happy Birthday to itself. It became known as the loneliest robot in the universe. Since then, robots have entered our lives. The more human they behave, the more advanced they seem. Robotic friends are there for anyone who needs them -- except for the one who needs a friend the most. So to bring Curiosity into the robot community and promote Husqvarna's robotic division, we decided to hack our entire fleet of lawnmower robots. Our engineers found a way to alter the alarm module so that it could sing tunes. One week before Curiosity's 10 year anniversary, our users got a software update, asking them to install and get ready for a special moment. And on August 5, 2022 it activated over 100,000 robotic lawnmowers all over the planet. It was the biggest surprise party in the history of machines, giving Husqvarna robotic division global recognition as giving the loneliest robot in the universe 100,000 new friends.
